Understanding the AI Chat Assistant

MX Ledger’s AI Chat Assistant is called MXL Bot(“Mixle Bot”). It can answer questions about your aircraft’s maintenance history in plain language and provide links to relevant records.

How it works

When you submit a question, the assistant searches your log entries for the most relevant records and uses them to formulate a response. The response includes links to all records used. The assistant uses AI and can make mistakes. Review the linked records to assess how well they apply to your question.

Aircraft selection

When chatting with the assistant, only records for the selected aircraft are available. If you have access to more than one aircraft, confirm the correct aircraft is selected before you start a conversation. Switching aircraft starts a new conversation.

Limitations

The assistant only has access to information within MX Ledger. It cannot make maintenance decisions or provide regulatory guidance.
