Editing imported entries
The import is an AI process that may generate inaccurate results, see AI accuracy for details on what can go wrong. To correct generated log entries, you simply edit the entry in the review interface and save it. Your changes are applied to the log entry in the aircraft’s records. You need Read and Write access to edit imported entries.
Saving is unavailable until you have changed something and the completed date is valid. Once you save, the entry reloads with the values you entered and saving becomes unavailable again until your next change.
Changing the component
Changing the component moves the log entry to the newly selected component and removes it from the previously selected component.
Deleting an entry
If an import produced an entry you do not want, you can delete it. You will be asked to confirm, and the log entry is then removed from the component. The imported data itself stays in the import, shown as no longer available, so you can always make a new copy of it later.
Cloning an entry
Cloning adds an editable copy of an entry to the import. You will be asked to confirm, and the copy is selected once it has been made. The clone carries the values generated for the log entry it was cloned from.
Cloning is how you split one imported entry into two records, and how you recover an entry you deleted or one you are not able to edit.
