Adding a flight

To add a flight, navigate to the aircraft’s flights page and choose to add a flight. Timers must be configured before flights can be added.

You need Pilot access to add a flight.

Flight date

The flight date will be pre-populated with the current local date. Flights cannot be added for a future date.

Timer readings

The form shows each configured timer with the previous reading that may be used to prefill the Out reading. This value may not be accurate, so verify it against the actual instrument reading.

To save a flight, an Out reading must be provided for every timer. If any In reading is entered, all In readings must be recorded before the flight can be saved. A flight saved without In readings is incomplete.

Saving an incomplete flight

It is common to record just the Out readings during a preflight inspection. The In readings can be added once the flight is complete without having to remember the Out readings. If the flight completes on the same day, adding a new flight will automatically take you to the complete flight page.
