Log entry tags
Tags identify the type of inspection or maintenance recorded in a log entry. These tags are used to track maintenance intervals and calculate when the next inspection is due. Tags must accurately reflect the work described in the work performed field.
The following tags are available:
- Annual — annual inspection
- 50-Hour — 50-hour inspection
- 100-Hour — 100-hour inspection
- Altimeter — altimeter inspection
- Transponder — transponder inspection
- ELT — ELT inspection
Adding and removing tags
Tags can be added or removed while creating or editing a log entry. To add a tag to a log entry, open the tag menu on the entry form and select the appropriate tag. Multiple tags can be added to a single entry. To remove a tag, select the remove control next to the tag. Tag changes take effect when the entry is saved.
Tags set during import
When a log entry is imported, the process will attempt to set tags automatically based on the content of the work performed field. Review imported tags to confirm they are accurate before relying on them for maintenance tracking.
