Updating aircraft registration

To update the registration associated with an aircraft, navigate to the aircraft’s settings page. The registration section shows the current registry and tail number. Update either field and save to apply the change.

You need Manager access to update the registration.

Effect on airworthiness data

The aircraft’s airworthiness page displays registration and certificate information pulled from the FAA registry based on the current tail number. Changing the registration will update this data to reflect the new tail number. If the new tail number is not found in the FAA registry, the airworthiness page will show no registration or airworthiness data.
