Managing your password

Password requirements

Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include all of the following:

  • An uppercase letter
  • A lowercase letter
  • A number
  • A special character: ^ $ * . [ ] { } ( ) ? " ! @ # % & / \ , > < ’ : ; | _ ~ ` = + -

Changing your password

To change your password, navigate to your profile. Submit your current password along with a new password and confirmation. A success message will appear when the update is complete.

Resetting a forgotten password

To reset a forgotten password, navigate to the reset password request page and enter your email address. An email with a reset code and link will be sent to the address if it is registered with an account.

From there, you have two options:

  • Enter the code manually. A confirmation page will appear where you can type the code and choose a new password.
  • Use the link in the email. Click the link in the reset email to go directly to the confirmation page with the code pre-filled.

Once you submit a valid code and a new password, you’ll be returned to the sign in page. The reset code can only be used once. If you receive an error, you can request a new code from the reset page.

If you don’t see the reset email, check your spam or junk folder.
